Nica Cox brings to the firm 25 years of experience in the field of public education. Serving in capacities as Special Education teacher in the area of Mild to Moderate disabilities in the high school level, teacher for continuation high school, teacher for drop-out retrieval program (7th to 12th grade), Junior High School administrator and High School administrator has given Nica a plethora of experiences that have allowed her to enhance teaching/learning practices for diverse audiences.
Nica holds a Bachelor of Vocational Education from California State University, San Bernardino; a Master of Arts, major/Education, emphasis/Curriculum & Instruction from Chapman University; Clear Designated Subjects Vocational Education Teaching Credential and Professional Clear Single Subject Teaching Credential. Current president of California Association of Resource Specialist (CARSplus) – a professional organization for those serving students with Individual Education Plans (IEPs). Nica has training in student assessment tools, JTPA Job Developer; Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) evaluating team member and team leader, Compliance Review Committee Panel member for Special Education IDEA alignment, Differentiating Instruction training, and CLAD certificate training are some of the areas of professional training and experience Nica brings to our e-learning team.
